Southview Park Hotel

Cooked breakfast was a let down. Baked beans every day - not a tomato in sight ! The Hotel could have been cleaner and some of the paintwork needs a little T.L.C.. Facilities on site were great. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Stayed one night in a superior room. Nice big room..plenty of space.The room and bathroom were very clean. Good night's sleep...bed comfy. Breakfast was fine but the breakfast waitress was a little rude and miserable...no smiles or good morning! Choice of cereal...toast...a few yogurts and melon.All the usual hot choices sausages bacon eggs mushrooms hash browns and beans.no croissants or pastries. I'm not sure it was good value for money and some of the staff were unfriendly and rude.

When we entered the property it gave us luxurious vibes, we were very excited about the amenities bar and food and all the stuff but we did nothing The checkin time was 4pm the swimming closes at 4pm the checkout is 11am and swimming for guests starts at 10am how am I supposed to swim and checkout at the same time? Late checkout only gets you until 12 which is no good. We were told that the bar is open till midnight later when asked for a drink at 10:30 or so, a lady said she cannot make the drinks as she was not trained. Showbiz or showbar was closed as some event was going on. Now comes the room as soon as we walked in there was this weird smell but I still kept my hopes up few lights were not working the sheets had weird mud marks on it. Carpet stains were really bad. The TV had no remote control, the receptionist came in to get an other one. All night we couldn't sleep as there was a lot of noise felt like people were talking just in my ears. The receptionist was very slow in assisting us we had to stop asking her questions as she took a lot of time to find the answers and give us. Overall we did not do anything in the resort. I literally wasted my money here. I would definitely not recommended this place to anyone at all.
