Hart's Hotel

There was a mixup with the room numbers for my stay. Whilst not a big issue, did cause some confusion initially. Room was lovely and clean, and the bed was comfortable as well. The shower in my room, was a little difficult to use and control the temperature of.

Overall, our stay was lovely. The room was clean and tidy, and all the staff were friendly and approachable. The garden was lovely, and the views from our room on the first floor were really nice considering we were in the city. My only gripe was the size of the room. We booked a superior room, but it was much smaller than it looked in the photos. It fit the bed, with very little extra space to move around, so it did feel a bit claustrophobic. The room was also stifling hot as there was no air conditioning. Even with the window open, the heat was intense at times. There was a fan in the room, but it was really noisy and not something you could sleep with. There was also a “summer vent” in the room, but even when it was switched on, it didn’t seem to bring the temperature down, so I’m still not entirely sure what it was meant to do. Parking onsite is limited to around eight spaces, so we used the NCP Mount Street car park just down the road. It cost £12 with a discount ticket from reception.

Fairly good value for money for a short stay in Nottingham. Walking distance to town centre, pubs and restaurants. Decent size rooms, ours was with a nice big windows and a view. We didn't have breakfast there so can't comment as we thought the price was too high and we wanted to eat out. The staff were friendly. They have a car park which you have to pay for separately.

The staff was very friendly. The room is clean. I can see their afford if making good staying experience for customers from their choice of tea bag and toiletries. There is car park available for customers(£10 a night). The fee is reasonable but it would be better if they can tell us it is not free and the price.

We enjoyed a pleasant one night stay here. Staff were exceedingly polite. Hotel was well positioned in a very quiet, pleasant area, just a couple of minutes walk from Nottingham City centre. The room was small, but pleasant. Breakfast was nice but a bit pricey with limited food on offer. A cafetiere for fresh coffee and fresh milk in the room were a nice touch.
