The room that I ended up with, luckily, was large and quiet. The AC worked well and there is a fan option. The pool was clean and refreshing, and nice to ease the muscles after the steep climb up the mountain steps. The first meal that I ordered didn't fit the menu description, the meat or seafood was entirely absent. The owner appeared to want me to pay more money to get some basic vegetables. There wasn't any explanation for the absent meat or seafood. I didn't push it and didn't order any more meals. There is no point in having a menu if this is occurring. Aside from this it was a good experience.

山の魅力をしっかり味わいたい方にはおすすめ
2025年7月に「Mountain View Guest House」に1泊（500バーツ）で滞在しました。 オクタル山の麓に位置し、自然を満喫しながら観光を楽しみたい方にはぴったりの宿です。 ゲストハウスから中腹の寺院までは整備された階段でアクセスでき、散策にもおすすめ。ただし、山頂を目指す方は要注意です。途中からは鋭い岩場をロープ1本で登るような本格的な登山道になり、ボルダリングのような過酷なルートになります。軽装や初心者の方にはあまりおすすめできません。しっかりとした登山装備が必要です。 ゲストハウスの設備は必要なものがひと通り揃っており、エアコン、ベッド、テレビ、冷蔵庫、チェスト、シャワーと快適に過ごせる環境でした。私の宿泊した部屋（1階西端の8号室）は眺めがあまり良くなかったのが少し残念でしたが、それ以外は特に不満はありません。 フロント横には小さな食堂とレセプションがあり、簡単な食事も楽しめます。また、こぢんまりとしたプールも併設されており、山歩きのあとの休憩には最適。のんびりとした時間を過ごせました。

One of the best places I have stayed in
This is a budget hotel with everything you need. Thé air conditioning is really good. The place has a family feel with homely vibes . The staff are adorable and friendly. The location is fantastic. Close to city centre and night market that has so much street food. They also offer scooter/ motorcycle rental at very low rates. If I come back to this town I will definitely rebook. Small and friendly place, and free water and super fast internet
