I had mixed feelings about my stay at Holiday Inn Agra. On one hand, the hotel itself is excellent—the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the front-desk staff were incredibly helpful and professional. However, I experienced a very distressing incident regarding security. During my stay (Feb 12-13), a total of 2,500 INR went missing from my bag. While I cannot prove exactly who took it, the money disappeared while my bag was left in the vehicle provided by the agent recommended/associated with my stay. As someone who works in the banking industry and handles cash daily, I am 100% certain of my calculations and the missing amount. It is heartbreaking because I truly liked the hotel’s amenities. But the loss of trust and the feeling of being unsafe regarding my belongings overshadowed the good experience. I have already informed the management and the agent, and I am writing this to warn other travelers to be extremely cautious with their cash and valuables, even in a reputable hotel like this. I hope the management takes this seriously to maintain their reputation for security. A hotel can be beautiful, but 'Trust' is the most important thing for a solo traveler.

No hot water, only barely warm when lucky. Hot water on demand is great, unless the setting is turned down as low as possible and the adjustment knob is removed. Otherwise, quiet and quite beautiful grounds.

For the price I paid for. It was worth it
