Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the room was generally clean and comfortable for a short stay. The air conditioner works very well and cools the room quickly. The ventilation fan in the bathroom is also effective. However, there is no refrigerator inside the room, which may be inconvenient for guests who need to store drinks or food. The shower provides an all-in-one soap and shampoo only, and the water pressure is quite low, making showers less comfortable. The mattress is very firm and may not suit everyone. There is also no hook or pin hanger to hang a scarf or small personal items. In the shared space, there is a water filter, refrigerator, microwave, iron, dining table with chairs, and a sink for guests to use. Please note that the iron has a burnt surface and may damage clothes if used. For the hotel manager: Please replace the iron, as it is already too risky for guests to use.

Lokasi hotel di tengah2 pekan Sg Bakap juga memberi kemudahan kpd penginap hotel utk akses ke Penang @ Perak.

Renovated under new ownership a year ago. Take lift from ground floor lobby to L2 hotel reception. All staff are friendly and helpful and evidently enjoy their work. Reception lounge is bright and spacious to sit and read or chat. Shared pantry is great. Rooms are small but fit everything comfortably. They're currently renovating larger rooms. Quiet aircon (Daikin). Smart TV didn't work well, as if internet connection not stable. 99 Econmart next door and various eateries 5-10 minutes walk. Note: Not a tourist area.

I booked a small room for a one-night stay to attend a friend’s wedding, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The room was cozy, clean, and definitely worth the price. There were a few minor downsides—the air-conditioning wasn’t cold enough, so the room felt a bit warm, and the bathroom had a slight unpleasant smell, possibly from the drainage. Around midnight, it also got a bit noisy as a family with kids was running around in the hallway. Still, what really made the stay memorable was the service from the Chinese female receptionist. We had driven overnight to Penang, and I sent a request through the Agoda app asking if early check-in was possible so we could rest. She called to explain, with great politeness and patience, that the room wasn’t ready yet as the previous guest hadn’t checked out. Later, she followed up with another call to inform us the room was ready. It wasn’t just about accommodating my request—it was the way she handled everything that stood out. Her warm attitude, professionalism, and effort made me feel genuinely respected and cared for as a guest. That thoughtful service truly left a lasting impression. Since it was just a quick overnight stay, I didn’t expect much, but the experience went beyond what I had hoped for. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a simple, pleasant, and value-for-money stay.

Located on the 2nd floor of shoplot, got lift/elevator. From the corridor/hallway to the room can see already, this hotel is very compact. Be aware of the room size. Very compact barely have space to solat (pray). Rooms not soundproof. Can hear clearly if you talk loudly from inside. But good price for location, that's all.
