I travelled with my 7 year old son and the stay was confortable. The owner was really helpful and providing guidance to reach the facility safely. The staff was very helpful and patient. I would recommend the stay.

Pros Nice Location. Staff behaviour is courteous. Cons Breakfast has only limited options that too have no vegitarian menu. Limited options for kids to enjoy Kids play area is not well maintained. Kids pool is under maintenance. Over all my experience didn't match the expectations

We stopped for a night at Pekoe during a gruelling “visit all the relatives” annual trip around Kottayam-Idukki. Joby runs a fantastic establishment - clean, spacious, well-equipped rooms in the middle of a beautifully maintained tea plantation, with views of majestic mist-capped hills, where you wake up to the sights and sounds of birds of every nature! Joby himself - an excellent host! He took care of every detail, making us feel truly at home. We left the place feeling like friends-of-old. The only snag was the fact that there wasn’t a full kitchen onsite; understandable as we were to be the only guests for the next month or so, while Joby attends to some personal matters. Despite this, he helped us pre-order our dinner, so this worked out pretty alright. I hope to come back some day when there is a chef on site and we can enjoy homestyle meals as well. Thank you again, Joby, for helping us have a beautiful time in a beautiful place!
