Reason for travel was t get out of the city for the weekend. I chose Guyra because I could access it by train; as I did not want to drive. I chose the Shiralee Motel because it was easy to access once I arrived and it was close to food outlets making it convenient. I am not sure how much there is to see and do in Guyra as I went for the peace, not the social life nor for a big mountain hike. I would like to return when it next snows in Guyra as it would be ideal to photograph without the need of staying at a ski resort for the snowy landscapes...

Just like home

As we drove up to reception we were greeted by the happy and friendly manager Nick. Nick gave us information about the motel and the town and where to get a good meal in town. Nick then got our room key for us, no need to get out of the car. Thank you for a great stay Nick.

Great Value

This was just perfect very clean comfortable bed and everything you needed. Great place to stay in a little country town. We would definitely stay again
