My 5th time visiting this resort. First recommended by friends, and have been back since. Rustic resort with rustic furnishings. Beautiful and charming. Though my last visit was more than 5 years ago, the resort mostly was well maintained. For those looking to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this place offers a tranquil haven surrounded by nature. There's a golf course next to it, but you won't hear anything or feel any disturbance form them. The resort is a 45min car ride from the city centre area (Nagoya). Otherwise, Tiban centre is where the locals go in the Sekupang area, but it is not like Nagoya with nice, big malls. I enjoyed Tiban centre nonetheless. The spa service is very attentive and skilled too. Again, pricier when considering Batam, but it is easily my best experience of a spa in Batam. Quality spa ingredients as things are specially made in-house and available to purchase at the resort reception shop. Each room is differently themed, so your experience can be different each time. For this stay, I chose the Bottle Cottage room, which was nice and spacious with a very roomy toilet - double sinks, shower, jacuzzi tub for 2. Note however that the tub can take a long long time to fill, since it is that big. It took an hour for me. Perhaps the hot water supply could be improved for this purpose. The water pressure at this room toilet was less than other toilets at the resort. The toilet section is also not completely closed off from the room, so you could be awoken by your partner in the middle of the night or early morning. Moreover, while there are 2 armchairs, it is one of the few rooms without a sofa. The upgraded TV with Netflix was also rather tiny for a room of this size, especially when viewing from the bed since that was the only logical viewing spot. A pity they didn't factor in the room size when choosing a screen size for this room. Would help if there was a cushioned bench at the foot of the bed, but even then it would be small. Since there's not very much to explore, I would imagine that the TV would be an important part of most anyone's getaway. Do note that this Bottle Cottage room is also right at the gate to the resort, so some sounds from vehicles when staff come and go are to be expected. I'm not bothered by such though. The food service was great as always, with compliments to the chef for the delicious food. Portion sizes see also generous for Asian sizes. I'm a big Asian eater, and the portions were enough to satisfy. However, all the food is on the pricier side for Batam, and resemble a Singapore restaurant price. Look to spend about 30-45 SGD per pax. More so if cocktails are your thing. Not an affordable resort, but quality is what you pay for. If my above feedback about the room amenities are improved, it would be worth every dollar spent.

Enjoyed the peace and quiet with wonderful massages. However, the value for money could be improved to make it more attractive for guests

A place where u want to spent time with ur loved ones in an natural environment.Peaceful.The Room Sultan itself is somewhat magical that u do not want to go out.Spa is fantastic.Simply its worth ur money.If you dun have time to go bali can consider this as an alternative for a quick getaway.On this note all meals or Spa that u take there only to be paid after check out.Go on weekdays if not weekend it should get busy with most of the rooms taken up.

Highly recommended for its superb service, and serene natural setting. It is perfect location for relaxation .

Lovely place nestled between lush green vegetation. Tastefully done resort. All staff here are very attentive and respond to your needs immediately. Restaurant staff also go out of the way to bring a smile every morning. Special mention to Ms Victoria in the restaurant who was very helpful with food options and even helped us make a booking with the spa while we had our lunch. The food quality is very good! Kudos to the kitchen. Grab is easily available to reach malls in town. Most places will be 20 to 30 mins car ride away.
