We were visiting a friend and wanted a nearby place to stay. Banbury does not seem to have a lot of options, so my hopes were not high but this place was perfect. It is at a very busy intersection, but the historic pub downstairs is snug and charming, and the room upstairs was spacious, comfortable and very quiet. There seem to be 3 rooms next to each other, would be great for a family group and the price was very reasonable for the location. Easy to park in the car park. Great location near the train station (0.5 miles) and several shops. We had drinks in the pub one night and there was a great selection and a friendly atmosphere (including resident dog).

We made a quick one-night rest stop while travelling. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was a good size, comfortable and clean. Downside was no food at dinner or breakfast. Just a short walk into town but on a cold, damp, night dinner in this old, thatched inn would have been great.

Decent sized room with a large bathroom and shower. Check in/out was very easy. Can access all night with the keycard. Rooms lack AC but fans are provided. With an outside temp of 20C the rooms were quite warm. If I had to nit pick, the room was tidy but some pieces of furniture very dusty.

I had eaten in the Three Pigeons when visiting Banbury in the past but didn’t know they also had stylish accommodation so close to the heart of the town. Thank you for the stay and warm welcome on check-in!

It’s an old building, so can’t expect modern facilities. On a summer’s day with only a small window room was rather hot even with the 2 fans running.
