The Royal Victoria & Bull Hotel

There’s so much history right here! If you’re ok to be basic this is a great stay right on the historic Rochester High Street.

2 single beds pushed together and i paid for a double room, no WiFi in my room as advertised, wallpaper peeling off the walls and the staff were rude, unhelpful and ignorant! Stay somewhere else especially if you find stairs difficult as this hotel has loads of them at many levels. A Dump!!

Для меня все было замечательно! Удачное расположение, в самом центре, до замка 5 мин пешком В номере чайник, чай/кофе, полотенца. Все работало, кровать очень удобная, ночью было тихо(останавливалась в будний день). Когда выбирала, читала отзывы и удивлялась людям, которые указывают в качестве недостатков отеля всякие погрешности в ремонте, старую мебель и тд. Для всех подобных- не езжайте сюда, заселяйтесь в Хилтон. Для адекватных и нормальных путешественников-отель прекрасен! Рекомендую!! Очень милая дама на ресепшене)

Cheap stay for such a central location but cleanliness and hygiene was lacking in all of the hotel, window sills, shower and carpet was dirty and dusty

I did not had a great night's sleep here. The room was pretty dirty, run down with wallpaper peeling off the wall and burns on the carpet. It's single glazed so you can hear EVERYTHING going on with drunkards in the down center below. The staff were friendly though, it's just a shame the hotel isn't maintained the way it deserves. The carpark is tiny and you might struggle to park. There definitely isn't space available for all guests. I had to move bins out of the way to wedge my car in a dodgy non-space for the night.
