The Royal Victoria & Bull Hotel

There’s so much history right here! If you’re ok to be basic this is a great stay right on the historic Rochester High Street.

2 single beds pushed together and i paid for a double room, no WiFi in my room as advertised, wallpaper peeling off the walls and the staff were rude, unhelpful and ignorant! Stay somewhere else especially if you find stairs difficult as this hotel has loads of them at many levels. A Dump!!

I did not had a great night's sleep here. The room was pretty dirty, run down with wallpaper peeling off the wall and burns on the carpet. It's single glazed so you can hear EVERYTHING going on with drunkards in the down center below. The staff were friendly though, it's just a shame the hotel isn't maintained the way it deserves. The carpark is tiny and you might struggle to park. There definitely isn't space available for all guests. I had to move bins out of the way to wedge my car in a dodgy non-space for the night.

This needs to be taken into consideration when staying at the hotel. Hotel rooms some need a little cosmetic work others lovely. These rooms ate spotless which ever you stay in. Bathrooms cleaned to high standard regardless of there age. Staff all lovely we bumped into Tina cleaning one of the rooms and complimented her she was informative about the history of the hotel such a lovely lady. Will definitely be returning here such good value for money thank you 👍👍😀😀😀

This is a two star hotel, so zero frills. But it’s clean and very well located in the lovely Rochester High Street. Check in closes at 8pm and there are no breakfast options.
