Lovely old building, with a newer extended accommodation area. Some external windows/lamps haven't been brushed/cleaned for what would seem years, but the room was nice...overlooking the brook behind. Staff - really good, friendly and honest.

I first visited the Old Mill back in December 2016 on the way to carry out my best man duties in Cambridgeshire. We stopped for some lunch and were really impressed by it. Fast forward to 2026, we had an event in Gaydon to go to and decided to stay over somewhere local to it. The Old Mill came up on the search engine and we jumped at it. The room was excellent - clean and more than catered for our needs. The bar prices were a little steep (but isn't everywhere these days) and the food was really good. The hotel is in a lovely area and so convenient for access to the main routes around the Midlands. The staff were friendly and efficient. We couldn't ask for more and will definitely stay there again when destination location requires.

Couldn’t fault this place. The service was great, staff helpful and friendly, food delicious. The rooms are dated but extremely clean and spacious. Booking it forced me to buy with breakfast which was £16pp but you can get a full English for about £11 when you’re there which was the dearest thing on the menu (+ Blue Light Card for me). You do get cereal/pastries extra for the £16 but it wasn’t needed. So I paid over the odds for what I ate but that’s not the hotels fault, just the booking

Enjoyed our stay myself and my sister , was warmly welcomed, and our room was overlooking the river, we had Sunday dinner which was extremely good with drinks all served by marvellous staff , we had a walk around enjoying our room facilities were extremely good and clean we enjoyed every moment thank you to all the staff at this beautiful hotel and restaurant
