살루테이션 호텔

I liked this hotel, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good as well. Only downside was the old creaky floors, so you could hear people in other rooms late at night or early in the morning. But I suppose you have to expect that in a hotel of that age. I would recommend this hotel.

Great value for a quality double room. It’s in great condition given that it was old enough to have been used by Bonnie Prince Charlie (added charm for an Outlander fan like me).

The staff were friendly and helpful. Very good location within walking distance of the river Tay, and very close to the city centre. Good selection for breakfast. It is an old fashioned hotel and in places looks a bit tired, but overall good value.

Overall very good value for money.

We really enjoyed our holiday stay at the Salutation hotel. We could walk to the station, the shops, the eateries and parks within easy distance of the hotel. Comfy rooms equipped with hot drink facilities and biscuits. Comfortable bed. Room cleaned daily. Thank you. The breakfasts were amazing with a wide range of food. Loved the evening meals in the Reid Bar. Friendly, really helpful staff. A lift to the rooms or use stairs. The Perth Fringe was on during our stay and many performers came to the hotel. We booked to hear a very funny Scottish comedian called Lorraine Hoodless. A big plus was going to the Pitlochry Highland Games via train from Perth. We had to leave early before breakfast and the staff organised a picnic bag for us to collect to eat. Thanks for this thoughtful service. The cosy hotel was perfect and we loved chatting to both fellow guests and the staff. A wonderful Scottish welcome here. We will be back!
