I had the privilege of staying at High Bank Hotel in Chapel Allerton for the duration of two consecutive weeks, as a result of my career in Local Government, which is based primarily in Leeds/West Yorkshire. The hospitality and customer service from the lady at the reception desk, in addition to the gentleman with glasses was exceptional. They engaged well with me upon my guest arrival, which was a smooth and efficient check-in process. My room was very pleasant, with a clean and tidy set-up and presentation, and my en suite bathroom faciltiies were also in good working order and condition. My positive customer experience upon check-in was followed up with consistency on a daily basis, where staff would actively follow up with me and enquire on whether I needed anything to further facilitate a comfortable stay, which I valued and commend highly, as any requests for fresh towels, coffee/milk sachets, central heating changes, iron/hairdryer, etc were actioned accordingly in an appropriate and swift manner. The demeanours of all hotel staff including housekeeping, were professional and grounded, with hotel staff making kind, conscious efforts to build rapport and implement sound communication practices with guests. The Hotel Manager was also great to engage with. He followed up my requests amicably, with a key aim to provide resolve, in addition to providing a smooth and positive customer experience, which I applaud very highly. The room was lovely and the bed VERY comfortable. I am grateful they provided tea and coffee facilities in the room but if I had one gripe it'd be the very shallow cup. The tea bag when stood was actually taller than the cup which had volume for just a few sips. It felt like a waste of the tea bag and certainly didn't feel worth the effort making.

The hotel offers a low price and for that price the accommodation is fine. Facilities were clean and nothing was broken or damaged. Decor is tired but arguably reflected in the price. Got a good night's sleep.

The hotel is not pristine and don't expect luxury room as you have to share toilet and bathroom but I like it for the price
