Landhotel Groggerhof

It was a truly perfect night. It was a place we stayed on the way from Wolfgang to Vienna, since the distance was quite long, so we chose a midpoint stop. I’ve always preferred small towns over bustling cities, so I booked my accommodation after getting a feel for the village atmosphere. However, I got lost on the way, and when I arrived, it was around 9 p.m. First, they helped us check in, and seeing that we had a lot of luggage, they personally helped carry it up to the accommodation on the second floor. Since they said they were hungry for dinner too, I figured none of the nearby restaurants would be open. The hotel restaurant had also closed for the day, but they said, “If you’re hungry, we can make something simple to eat for you.” I’m sorry, but I said I’d ask for a favor, packed up my things, and went down. Without hoping we’d be able to choose from the menu, we just ate whatever was given, but they handed us a menu and helped us place our order just like in a restaurant. The food is perfect!!It wasn’t quite that, but it was quite delicious, with a home-style feel. Especially cognac? They gave us whiskey, and it smelled really good. The accommodation was clean, needless to say. Breakfast was included in the price, so even when we ate breakfast in the morning, the female owner kindly took care of every little detail. The breakfast quality was also quite good. It was the kind of place where I wanted to stay one more day. See you next time too ❤️❤️
