Our stay at Eastwell Manor was very nice, staff were very polite and helpful, the room we had was wonderful with beautiful views over the grounds., exceptionally clean, warm & cosy with everything we needed. Breakfast was really good. We did use the spa on the evening when we arrived but the next morning the pool was out of use so it would have been nice to have been notified about this when booking as we were planning to use this facility. Also no hot tub working & also thought that the hydro pool was a bit cold quite honestly. So little bit disappointing on the spa side.

The restaurant menu & service was good, staff helpful & surroundings attractive, but mews bedrooms a fair walk from the main house at night & going back & forward proved hard to find way in dark. Room heating went off in night & didn’t return in morning & room so cold I couldn’t sleep. No shower mat & slippy. But worth a visit, especially I guess in summer.

My husband booked us in for a two night stay for my birthday. Al lovely treat. Pleasant room in mews cottage. Helpful, attentive staff. Beautiful surroundings. Delicious meals in Spa restaurant and Gardenia. Would recommend to anyone for a great treat!

Good price for room, cooked breakfast and spa access. Unfortunately, I did not sleep well. It was two single beds put together to make a double. The bed therefore had a noticeable and uncomfortable gap! The end of each single mattress had a risen edge, so where the single beds meet, it is rigid and hard. Impossible to sleep on. So though you have a “double bed” you can only really sleep on either side (basically a single)! This was really disappointing. You usually go to a hotel for a good nights sleep on a quality mattress right? It was also quite cold and there was no way to regulate the heating, especially as the windows had a strong draft at night. One window had dead bugs and cobwebs. So I decided to keep the blinds closed. Lastly you could hear the rooms either next door or upstairs flushing their toilets and washing their hands. The pipes were so loud! For such a lovely place and location the facilities were just not up to scratch. Had far more comfortable nights at cheaper hotels without the well known name. It is great for location, views, breakfast and quiet but don’t expect a great nights sleep.

We were treated to a two night stay as a Christmas present so I'm not party to the room cost but it included the use of indoor pool and spa and with the exception of some of the jets in the plunge pool not working properly it was delightful. As for the dining, whilst the surroundings are not lost on us, dinner for 2 set us back £200, a prosecco & red wine £20 and as an idea of the bar snacks menu, burger and chips, a basic cheeseboard, glass of white wine and bottle of ale £62. Food expense aside, the grounds are beautiful and you'll enjoy plenty of lovely scenery and walks, weather permitting.
