As I was on a 3day fishing trip on the North and South Tyne. Its location is central to the difference beats I fish. The room and facility meet my requirement to the full. ( Taken into account it’s a work in progress to bring it up to modern day stands). The staff could not be more helpful in all respects of there duties at the Queens. The inclusion of a general store has given the local community the old fashion corner shop which is a a good diversity and the inclusion of a fish and chip shop on Wed Thus Friday and Saturday currently. Again an other innovation and also serving the community as a hole of the village. It’s is a work in progress and can only go from strength to strength. I have no problems whatsoever to recommend Queens Arms Hotel and will return next time I am fishing in the north east of England,

I must admit, when I first checked in, I looked at alternative places around the area to see if they were available but they were all way more expensive. My room was basic - a single bed, tiny shower cubicle and a toilet, but it was clean, comfortable and warm. As the week went on I warmed to the place - found the breakfast cereal and milk left for me, along with other snacks (a nice touch) and found that it was fine as a place to sleep and then go out and about from. If you are going to spend a significant amount of time in the hotel, this may not be for you but I found it fine. I was left to my own devices, came and went as I pleased and found it to be good. I had only one interaction with anyone from the hotel which was when I checked in - so hard to judge from that. In my view - it's fine. Its basic but clean and did the job I needed to do (and was £200 less than Travelodge)

Wouldn't bother. There is a novelty value to showering in a wardrobe, the wall paper was fun, but it is going to be really, really, really hard to get a good nights sleep here, as all the rooms either face the street or the smokers courtyard. Walls are paper thin and if you've got inconsiderate neighbours, there is no overnight management to set things straight. The squawking Geordie bird down the hall decided to bore her friends until 4am.

Lovely room. Very well stocked. Lovely expensive toilet roll. Very clean. Bed Very comfy. Friendly staff.

I cancelled this property within 2 days of booking via booking.com agoda took my 51 lb. They won't give it back. I would never recommend ations this company ever
