We had a champ this for tonight. The room was basic but clean the facilities were really good Gardens beautiful. Dinner in the restaurant the first evening was extremely disappointing so we ate in the café which actually has the same menu but the food seems a better quality. The only disappointment was the fact that we booked through Agoda and the site did not make it clear that to be able to use the facilities there we would have to pay an extra £70 per person per day. I nowhere on the Agoda site when we booked did it say that facilities were extra we thought we were booking a two day spa break and if we hadn’t paid the extra money we would not have been able to use the facilities which would make the whole thing pointless. It did put us in a very difficult and embarrassing situation so we had to pay the extra I think Agoda should make it perfectly clear that all you are paying for is bed and breakfast when you book with them.. Having said that, it was a lovely break and we would do it again

We went for a one night stay on a Friday evening. The spa itself is lovely. The facilities are clean and nice. It was a lovely day so we even got a sunbed outside and had a glass of fizz. We stayed in the garden wing and had booked last minute. The room itself was very tired and in need of a refurb- think stains on the carpets, old interiors, stains in the bathroom. We made the most out of using the facilities so didn’t get back to the room until 9:30pm. We called reception for room service and were told room service had finished when the restaurants finished serving food. Luckily we got a Deliveroo instead- just something to be aware of. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but think the hotel needs to refresh some of their rooms.

Hotel could be great. The spa has everything but looks tired which is a shame. Massive grounds with sunloungers. The bedrooms were really tired with no air conditioning. Premier Inn rooms are much better but you don't get the spa and the grounds. Breakfast is continental but you can order hot food.

Relaxing and beautiful environment. Housekeeping just ok- and my room key continued to fail- outside of this- a great stay.

I had a generally pleasant stay. The late check-in was smooth, and the receptionist was friendly. The spa facilities are excellent, and the ambiance is relaxing with a pleasant scent throughout. My room was spacious but slightly dated, with a shower-over-bath setup that felt awkward. Breakfast was a letdown, with limited options and inattentive service. Checkout was efficient but lacked engagement from staff. The hotel is well-rated at four stars and could reach five with a refresh and improved customer service. Overall, a good stay with room for improvement.
