Thumbs up for location close to The Ridgeway; a nice en-suite shower room; and a delicious, good value evening meal! However, as a couple of friends (as opposed to 'a couple') walking The Ridgeway, all its' rooms only offer double beds (confirmed when I rang to double-check) so my friend and I agreed to share a standard-size double bed, which frankly wasn't the most comfortable or restful arrangement, especially after a lengthy walk. The bedroom could easily accommodate twin beds (and a chair would be nice too), so please consider this request! Also The Greyhound doesn't offer breakfast - a local cafe in the park next door to the pub opens around 8.30/9 am where you can get some toast, yoghurt, bacon butty, coffee etc - certainly no eggs or cooked style breakfast. In short, our stay would've been considerably enhanced if we'd been able to sleep in twin beds!

Had a nice and comfortable stay. Lovely location and friendly staff.

Nice place to stay, but the over powering smell of cleaning products in the bathroom was to say a little over done.

Its a lovely friendly place, parking is easy and its in a peaceful village.

We stayed one night at the Greyhound - it was ideal as we were walking the Ridgeway long-distance path and the pub is only a few minutes off the track. We had room number 5 which was huge and good value. The staff were very friendly and the food is good too. Recommended.
