My husband and I stayed in the apartment annexe of The Feathers which is comfortable, well appointed with good sized rooms. Very nice kitchen. Bathroom is ok but could do with more thorough cleaning. Unfortunately when we stayed there it was during a heatwave which made sleeping difficult. Our bedroom window was not openable and the fan, left for our use, was very ineffective. My husband eventually broke it when trying to make it run better. We told the manager and offered to pay, but he said not to worry as they had a replacement for it; so I hope that the new one works better. The bar and restaurant are good with a good choice of meals and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is also a really nice garden with children’s play area. Very suitable for families.

Exceptional
My sister and l spent 2 nights at the Feathers sadly it was to attend a family funeral. We were made most welcome. The food and hospitality were excellent . l would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again
