Highly recommend this place, not the cheapest in Portree but worth it. Great room, very clean and wonderful view. Good car parking made life easier. The staff were excellent very polite and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was top quality and would satisfy the biggest eaters out there. Town was a 5 minute walk away. Only recommendation I would make to make your stay perfect is to sort your evening meals out early. This is not a reflection on the hotel but Portree generally. Not enough eating places for the demand. Would definitely revisit . Great place to enjoy what Skye has to offer.

Good but not great. Staff was a bit overwhelmed and seemed short staffed. Got settled into the room then realized the toilet did not flush. We had to gather all our stuff and transfer rooms to another area.

Was here for 2 days and the place was awesome.

We are happy to stay at the Marmalade Hotel for 2 nights. Breakfast is good and have a wide range of selection.

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from high street so it is rather quiet. Extremely attentive staff. I forgot the name of the lady who served us when we checked in but she offered to help bringing my mother's heavy luggage upstairs which helped us immensely. Outstanding room with all you need with a very nice tea and nibbles. The restaurant - Chargrill- makes the best pumpkin seed bread I have ever had. That goes very well with their tomato butter. Steak is also succulent with rich flavour. They also do not serve dessert; they serve a piece of art. I had a very sublime chocolate with very rich texture. Highly recommended.
