We came to Lompoc to experience a live rocket launch, and this inn was so nice, clean and quiet that one night seemed too short a stay. Everything was true to the pictures- the lobby small but the dining area was so cute and quaint, parking was perfect, and the rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet! I particularly loved how the windows have remote controlled shades that really help blackout light and adjust to how much or how little you want them open/shut- they're fantasic, and I would love to have those in my own home!! Their smart TVs even allow you to log into your own Prime Video or Netflix account (just do not forget to LOG OUT), that was a plus- especially for our kids. However, nothing is perfect, and it is only fair I share my qualms big or small to help suggest a better experience. The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable- they felt soft and lacked support. Putting a waste basket in the bathroom would be great- I was surprised it didn't have one in there. Breakfast ONLY from 6:30 AM To 8:30 AM REALLY!? That there was a major blow and disappointment. By the time we returned from the evening launch and got everyone showered and to bed it was after 1:00 AM, it's a hotel, not a work house, it would be nice to give guests the opportunity to have some breakfast they paid for- even if it's only a Continental one, which I don't know what kind of breakfast it was because I never got to see it. Extending it to 10 AM (like McDonald's) or even to just 9:30 AM would make a huge positive difference, especially for those of us traveling with children- it was thanks to our son that we were even there in the first place, lol! Aside from those things, everything else was great! Location seemed good, I mean Lompoc is a really small town, so unless you're there for military, family or launches there isn't much else, lol! Oh, by the way, if looking for yummy food, try Bravo's Pizza! Anyways, I hope this helps... if you choose to stay here, you made a good choice- even if you miss the breakfast. ;)

The hotel is only staffed for part of the day and early evening. There is an emergency number, but if you have a maintenance need as we did your choices ate to try and fix it yourself via whatever MacGyver method you can come up with, or do without your bathroom until morning. Too much of a risk to take for an average property.

Great experience. Clean and easy. Only challenge was having to pay the room taxes twice. Agoda’s invoice showed taxes paid but hotel did not have that documentation.

Very nice, exceptionally clean hotel, well maintained and modern with friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Lompoc.
