BEST DEAL - Kings Hotel

Well worth the money, staff are friendly and placed is really well kept.

I stayed for twenty five minutes. That is how long it took me to see enough. I then got in my car and drove two hours home to sleep in my own bed. That tells you everything you need to know. The only positive was that staff agreed to upgrade me to an ensuite before I saw the room. That is where the positives end. The towels left on the bed had visible brown stains on them. That alone should tell you everything about the standard of cleanliness here. The room was genuinely unsafe. The fire sensor was hanging down from the ceiling, completely detached. The plug sockets had visible burn marks around them. These are not minor issues. These are serious safety hazards that should never be present in any accommodation, let alone one being sold to paying guests. The mattress was broken. Springs were visibly protruding through the surface. The noise levels were horrendous. The smell of cannabis was heavy in the corridor outside the room and impossible to ignore. I would not send anyone here. This place is not fit for purpose. Avoid completely.

After I checked in and stayed at the room. Suddenly, someone opened the room door. It is the guest stayed a day before me. But he still had the key!! He didn't put the key into the drop box. And the officer didn't checked it before she arranged the room to me.

A doss house akin to homeless accomodation. Mattress was old & springy so had to be flipped. Key in bedroom door failed to lock. Bathroom on upper floor light would'nt work. Downstairs shower doors would'nt even close properly. Leaving too big a gap. Meaning a shower would've soaked the floor. Utter shambles of a hotel. Very run down & falling apart. Barely fit for purpose 0/5.

i have never stayed in such a disgusting filthy health and safety hazard, the smell of urine in the whole place to the filthy pillows and filth on the walls and floors to the window that if you fell you would fall out of onto the street below to the fire alarm hanging out the ceiling and blood on the walls i was horrified at how awe full this place is it needs closing down totally this truly is the hotel from hell
