Very easy check-in. Great location for train station, city centre and buses. Good facilities in room, TV, kettle with tea coffee and milk plus biscuits. Hair dryer. Mini shower get shampoo/ conditioner and soap. Two towels per guest. Excellent shower and clean modern en suite. Breakfast was excellent and lots of choice. Bed wasn't the most comfortable I have stayed in but ok. I did ask for to higher room but only book top floor if you are fit. Carpet on stairs probably needs a good clean but obviously gets a lot of traffic. Room carpet was fine.

Great location great breakfast but unfortunately right at the top of guest house loads of stairs. Would stay again but in different room bed was so squeaky so not much sleep

Bit confusing finding hotel, as its the pub name that stands out, but couldnt see sign for clifton hotel name. However, Owner / manager really helpful. Room quirky, but comfortable. Location great. Car parking just across road, easy access.

The people were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast were perfect. The only problem was the weakness of the Wi-Fi. It didn't work everytime and when it worked it was very slow. Anyway, it worth it to stay there.

Lovely clean room. Nice clean bedding and towels. Tea and coffee facilities good. Very close to all amenities. Lovely breakfast. Only negatives are no plug near mirror to dry/straighten hair etc, no hooks to hang anything on in either bedroom or bathroom, only 2 small bedside tables to put anything on including kettle/teacups etc. Beds not very comfortable but despite this I would return due to it being very reasonably priced and good value for money. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
