Very hard to find tucked away in the corner. The sign is black & white, not Travelodge brand colours. Can not be see from High St corner which is the address and under a balcony. At the door only other companies logos, only on back wall in entrance hall can you see usual brand sign. Needs a billboard st street level & big sign as per usual on high-rise part of building. Even a local couldn't find it when looking towards it & knew it had been there years before. Key card didn't work so had to exchange. No bathmat which seems to be normal for travelodge (signs say take care of wet areas.. floor wouldn't be wet if there was a bath mat)! Otherwise a nice clean facilities.

Bad timing
This hotel is well situated for the Cathedral and river Severn walks also great for the he town centre and all its shops. The Breakfast was tops with plenty on offer lovely scrambled egg and the links were very tasty too. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. My only complaint was that the boiler in the hotel blew and so it was cold showers in the morning as there was no hot water all day. The heating engineers worked on this and it was the evening before the fault was fixed. As I mentioned in my title bad timing and that’s all it was. However I would also like to say one cannot leave and luggage at the hotel when you check out you have to take your luggage with you as the hotel is not insured for this. Apart from that great hotel and we would stay here again.

Good location in the centre. Lifts don't fill you confidence, I used the stairs. Room and facilities basic but fine for the price

Hotel location brilliant breakfast was a no show
Location was brilliant hotel was brilliant breakfast was shocking felt sorry for the young girl left on her own to cater for 50 plus people me and my wife went down for breakfast 9ish there was no mugs at all no bread no plates nothing how they expected 1 girl on her own to do everything was very bad management i paid nothing to eat there at all and had to purchase a McDonald's on way home there was a que at reception complaining

The staff were welcoming, helpful, and always ready to assist. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!
