Stayed here for two nights (May 15–17), and honestly, it was the best choice of the trip. The hotel is hidden in a small alley near Paifang Street—super central but surprisingly quiet. All the main sights like Guangji Bridge and Kaiyuan Temple are just a few minutes’ walk away. They also arrange electric cart pickup, so getting in with luggage is easy. The place itself is really special, built around an old residence with a traditional courtyard and even a 300-year-old tree. It feels calm and full of history. Rooms are simple but very well done—Bulgari amenities, Dyson hairdryer, and even a full tea set with Phoenix Dancong tea. On a rainy day, just staying in and making tea was actually one of my favorite moments. Service was warm and thoughtful. The butler contacted us in advance, and every night there was a sweet dessert soup waiting when I got back—such a nice touch. Overall, it’s not a flashy luxury hotel, but a quiet, comfortable place right in the middle of the ancient city. Perfect if you want somewhere peaceful to come back to after exploring. Will definitely stay here again when i visit Chaozhou again.

Excellent location in the old town where more attractions are. Rooms are modern and spacious. Staff are excellent and friendly! There is a buggy that is able to send you to and from the entrance of the old town.
