Good place to stay
Overall I had a very pleasant stay at the Ikani Surf Resort. The property is beautiful and the staff takes a lot of care into maintaining it. There is also a pool that is just as beautiful as the rest of the property. The restaurant offers good service and great tasting food and it's possible to enjoy a meal or drink watching the waves and surfers. That said the prices are on the expensive side with a coke costing close to a staggering 100 pesos and a beercosting well over that. That said there are not many good places to eat at the Blue Lagoon. As far as the rooms go, they were cute and perfectly clean with a good working aircon, hot shower, and mini fridge. I do have a few complaints. For being a surf resort you can not simply rent a surf board, you have to pay for a surfing instructor. During my stay there was no surfing instructor present. The resort also lacks the ability to rent other normal beach gear such as life vests and snorkeling equipment. Since the snorkeling in Blue Lagoon is good we were quite disappointed in this. The wifi was also nonexistent in our room and cellphone reception was not much better. Location wise, the beach immediately in front of the property is reef, good for snorkerling and surfing. For the relaxing sandy beach you would need to walk 20 minutes. Overall Blue Lagoon is a breathtakingly beautiful place and we were quite comfortable at the Ikani Surf Resort.

Far but worth the travel.
9-10hrs away from Manila. A long drive to get to Ikani. But worth the drive. Nice place to unwind. Beach is about 10min walk from Ikani. Tourist spots are about 45 mins away from this place, it’s a good location if you’re planning to go around Ilocos Norte.

Nice place
Nice place but it would be nice if there is an available shuttle going to the blue lagoon. You have to walk for 20mins just to get to the lagoon. The food in the resto is a too pricey. Just buy food or eat in the carinderias outside.
