Great views, staff are friendly and their Butler service is a treat. A bit of a surprise with the steps but our Butler Darrel carried our bags for us and he is a really nice and helpful guy.

Property is tired and old. Rooms too dark. Staff very friendly and nice though.

The travel going to the resort itself was tedious and very expensive. I paid a local transport called Baobao a special trip going to the resort and when we came to the resort itself there was no reception area. I have to go down a steep stairs just to find any hotel staff to carry our things and help us locate our accommodation. Unfortunately we were in a wooden hut in the hill and it was near to a very big Ficus or Balete tree which makes the surroundings more scary. We asked the butler who was assign to us if there were other guest because it was so quite and he said they have other guest but I was wondering why other guest do not go out in there respective rooms, I feel that it was just me and my sister was in the resort and during our first night my sister can not sleep because she was so scared. The room rates were rather expensive and also the food but at least the food was delicious. So for me and my sister that was a very regrettable experience and we do not wish to comeback in that resort. Maybe it was just me but the reviews here in Agoda about this resort was very good that was why I booked it but to tell honestly it was not really worth it, not at all.

So, the food here is some of the best hotel food I've ever had. Nothing on the menu was less than amazing 😍🤩😍. While the facilities are a little dated, they are in the process of improvements. Realize a few facts about the hotel beforehand will help you out. 1. The resort is located in a hillside. Therefore, if you cannot easily walk steep stairs this place may not be for you. 2. Your room will come with a butler. Your meals, entertainment, towels, and bill 💵 will go through this person. Treat them with respect and let them guide you through the menu and your stay will be easy. 3. Not having a car on the island is not a show stopper. Get a moto 🏍️ (tuktuk) from the ferry who is also a tour guide and schedule time with them during your stay to get around the island 🏝️ at your convenience. 4. Bring cash or use G-Cash because there is not an ATM close. Last ATM is on the way at a Landbank. 5. Take the time to explore the facilities there are a few exotic animals to see. It's also a great place for 🐦 bird 🕊️ watching. 6. If you have allergies bring medicine 💊 for your nights because the pollen can get annoying. The sunset over Davao City is beautiful. Take the time to see it from the beach and see mount Apo in the distance. The ocean is waist deep for about 50 yards out into the water 💦. It's very warm and refreshing and surprisingly clean. The rooms are above average. AC is very good. Hot showers and good water flow. Internet at the facility can get challenging if you are sending pictures or uploading content on your mobile or computer. But it does the job after a while. Overall it was a great refresher for the weekend. Friendly staff and great food. I would recommend for those who want privacy and who wish to disconnect from the world for a few days. Bring your walking shoes and water shoes. You'll need both. Lastly, there are a few cats on the beach ⛱️ and a few dogs that roam the property. Be kind, it's the Philippines. You don't have to feed them. But if you do, you've made a friend for your stay. Enjoy.
