Room is spacious, location is not too bad if your driving

There is no flyscreen on the windows so it was very sad that we couldn't leave the windows open at night due to it being quite warm in the rooms and the only source of cold air was a medium sized fan, there were ants in the bathroom and in the room itself, need to bring your own cutlery, bowls and plates if you want to eat in your room, for the price i paid i wasnt expecting patchy paintwork, light shining in through a crack between the main door and the door frame aswell as light coming from in beside the mirror in the bathroom behind the toilet, also for a room that can accommodate 4 people but only have 3 chairs was a bit underwhelming as one of us had to sit on the floor to eat. 15 min walk to shops and food places which was nice.

I enjoyed my stay at the Canberra Lyneham Motor Inn. It was close to the Dickson Village shopping centre for restaurants and shopping, close to the Dickson Interchange for public transport, and less than 10 min drive to ANU and Canberra Centre. Room was clean, quiet, and very large, albeit an older style and simply furnished. Beds were comfortable. Shower/hot water were very nice. Only downside was that motel guest internet didn't really work. Overall excellent value for money.

Good location for the spot we needed to attend.

if that's all you want then this is it, very quiet, comfortable warm bed, I just wanted somewhere for the night that was reasonably priced and this was excellent
