Will definitely return for another stay with my family. I stayed with my friends and we had a good overnight stay. The kayak is free. If you are a nature-lover and just want to be away from the chaos from the city, work or whatsoever -- this is a good getaway place. But make sure to call them first before, you might get lost because we got lost because of gmaps. The cabin is 100% cool! Kayaks are free. The speedboat has a fee, though.

An Adventure Like No Other at a Lake House on CNY
Spent Chinese new year with our kids and Shih Tzu twins at one of the villas at Isla Del Antono. This resort is remotely located on the shores of Lumot Mahipon lake in the vicinity of Cavinti, Laguna. You would have to take their speed boat to get to the property since there is no paved access by land available yet. Though we decided to book this trip in the last minute (one day before check-in), we were still able to smoothly secure our reservations. Thanks to the very accommodating owner/super host Rhea. When we reached the parking area, Rhea personally anticipated and greeted us upon arrival and endorsed us to the boat crew. The boat trip only took 10mins. Checked in at the villa at 9pm. Joseph the caretaker was very helpful in assisting us with our needs. He even set a bonfire for us which was one of the highlights of our stay. The only slight complaint that I have was that I was not informed by Rhea beforehand that electricity at the property is only available from sunset until midnight which was extended to 2am for us since we got there late in the evening. But we eventually realized it didn't actually matter because the weather was already relatively cold even without an electric fan. We didn't try swimming in the lake the next day because it didn't stop raining that day so we just chilled out with our pooches inside the villa. Will definitely book this property again soon.

Back to basics serenity
If you're looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city or you just need peace and quiet, then book a weekend here to disconnect. This place can be very quiet as there's no power on the island. You cook your own food, boil your own water and do things manually but then it lets you reconnect with yourself. I would highly recommend this place if you feel the toxicity of modern living is getting to you.
