The hotel is really great especially if you are a car enthusiast and even for those who are not. Nicole from the front office desk was great in rectifying some of the issues we had with housekeeping and stocking of the mini bar. Although the location is not really near the Munich City centre, the nearest U-bahn (Freimann) is just 10min by foot.

I stayed at AMERON with two other friends because we had to attend an event at Zenith. From this point of view, the location is perfect. However, if you want to visit around the city, I would maybe recommend something more central. The room was extremely clean, and the room design is modern, but the fact that there’s no wall or door between the room and the bathroom area (sink, toilet, shower) makes it uncomfortable and inconvenient, especially when you’re not staying alone in the room. It’s impossible to even wash your hands and not wake up the other person/s. The room is spacious, but there’s barely any natural light due to the fact that the hotel and rooms are inside a building. This was not a problem for us, we found it rather interesting and cool. When we checked in, the hotel charged an amount from my card, as a deposit, and today, 10 days later, the amount is still not back in my account, it still shows as payment pending, which leaves a bad taste, considering the receptionist confirmed the amount will be back in my account in a couple of days. All in all, it was an interesting stay, but I would only stay again here in case I would want to be close to Zenith.

We were only in Munich for one night. Decided on this hotel as it was a bit closer to the airport than most we looked at, and it was a relatively short uber ride to many of the sites we decided to visit this trip: The BMW Showroom and Welt, Allianz Stadium, The Olympian Tower, Sea World. And of course, Motor World itself was incredible, although we -- sadly -- only had a few minutes to check it out. I waited too long to book so didn't get a great price; for that reason, I give it a mediocre "Value" score, but had I bothered to plan further ahead I'm certain that I could have found a better deal. I asked for a morning wake-up call and they rang 20 minutes late; to be honest, it didn't matter to me because we weren't on a tight schedule. However, that was a bit unprofessional, especially from Germans who are famous for their adherence to punctuality. Staff said she had been busy with a client checking in so hadn't been able to call at the correct time; if that is the reason for the late call then perhaps the hotel ought to invest in an automated wake-up call service. Overall, staff was professional and friendly, we loved the sound of revving engine that played each time we were in the elevator and we would not hesitate to stay there again, especially if I could get a less-expensive rate.

Chose this hotel because this was the Adele weekend and most of the hotels were more expensive than usual. Must-stay for car aficionados. Great selection of Mclaren and vintage cars in the Motoworld expo. As far as the stay goes: - decent room with comfortable bed and relatively clean bathroom (shower needs descaling). - room could be opened with a simple push after closing and without pressing the door-knob. we reported this to the staff, but the problem persisted the next day. - gym has no ventilation system and the proximity to the sauna makes a workout almost impossible (due to the unbreathable atmosphere and high humidity) - 7 km from downtown. faster to reach it via subway (Freimann subway station is a 10-15 min walk from the hotel) - dog-friendly (aporeciated) - polite, welcoming staff
