Our stay was very good with the exception of the room we were given was beautil with a sea view but it was on first floor and opened strait on to the stairs and so got a lot of noise from the bar downstairs and many children allowed to run about shouting at 11.30 at night. We were woken up two or three times before I asked the children to please calm down and not make so much noise. The parents were not around to monitor them. They were in the bar under our room making a lot of noise as well. Unfortunately we did not get to sleep until 12.45 after the bar had closed. Is a shame as before that the other aspects of stay were very good.

Good friendly staff, a pleasant location and good food. The only sour note is the now, almost ubiquitous charge for a dog. Why can these places not charge a refundable deposit and only implement it if a dog has soiled or done damage. It just feels like you're paying extra and getting less.

Lovely hotel in a super location. The room was looking a bit tired, but the hotel is in the process of updating so I assume that this will be sorted next year. The staff were great and the food was very good as well.

As others have said the existing jacuzzi and indoor pool is a bit tired. But new outdoor infinity pool under construction looks amazing. Everything else wonderful, lovely old building with a lot of character and various facilities, great restaurant with fantastic views nice staff and generous portions.

We love this hotel & it’s location
