Camiguin Blue Lagoon Cottages

Room price is cheaper, they have good food! ✨ However, they don't have generator incase of power outage. We stayed there for 4 days, then we expericed power outage twice or thrice during our stay. Then sometimes no water from the shower. But the food was great

They have the best scenery of the lagoon. The night view was amazing as well. The room was nice and cozy. It was good. The issue was when we booked the family cabana, we didn't know it was right beside the reception/resto bar area. The water pump system was also right at the back of our room. It kept on making noises all throughout the day and night which made it very hard to sleep. They also removed on of the ceiling fan on the second floor so it was quiet hot. They have other rooms with AC, so I suggest booking that instead. The view was worth it overall. Just prepare your legs for the long stairs.

Overall, its okay, it is closest to the port but far from most tourist spots. We also expect our rooms to be private but turned out we would share the bathroom, it should be specified in the posting.

I stayed there for two nights. The hotel complex is absolutely beautiful, especially the restaurant area with its terrace and amazing view of the lagoon. The room was also very nice and everything was clean. Water pressure and hot water were perfectly fine. I had booked a “Seaview” room, which was located slightly below the main building. The view was great, but it was right next to the road. During my stay (April 7–9, 2025), a section of the coastal road across the lagoon was closed due to construction. Traffic was diverted right past the hotel, and trucks were passing by frequently — and as is common in the Philippines, they honked every time! No idea how long the construction will last, but it was definitely annoying. Of course, the hotel management has no control over this. I would recommend booking a room with air conditioning. It was quite hot and humid, and the standing fan provided wasn’t enough to cool the room properly. One more thing: After having breakfast at the restaurant, I got food poisoning (two days of diarrhea and headaches). I can’t say for sure it came from the food there, but I later read a Google Maps review mentioning that several guests experienced similar symptoms. That said, I would still absolutely recommend this place. It’s truly a little paradise.
