The stay was good, but price was too high for the kind of facility. Food price 4x times and very limited options. If you want to stay you have food options just 3km away you get plenty of options for food

Overall a good stay. Staff were very cordial and helpful. They respond quickly to our queries and demands. Food was good, but you need to wait quite a bit after ordering, but no issues for a relaxed dinner.. Location is good for a quiet and peaceful holiday.

This resort is located on the banks of Bhadra river with very serene atmosphere closest to the nature. The villas were well maintained with really big bathrooms. The staff is very courteous and friendly. They put up a smile always. Food and beverages are very affordable. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for 2 days with family and a teen kid. Sharing our experience: Positives: Full marks to the staff and their hospitality — right from reception, housekeeping, and restaurant. Extremely polite and soft-spoken throughout. Room was neat and well maintained. Food was good, both in the breakfast buffet and in the paid lunch/dinner options. Areas of concern: Location: The biggest drawback. This resort is not in Chikmagalur but ~50 km away. Over 30 km of that stretch (from Adlur onwards) is in very bad shape, which makes self-driving tiring for both driver and family. Nothing exists around the resort either, so it only suits those who want to “just stay inside.” The only plus is its setting on the banks of the Bhadra River — calm and soothing views with flowing water sounds. Amenities: Almost none. The only facility is a small swimming pool, which also had snails on its walls. In the name of activities, there’s just a bonfire (very basic, gets boring in 5 minutes). Plantation tour was also just a walk around their private property, with a short riverbank stop. Indoor games (TT, chess, carrom, foosball) exist in a nice play area, but I didn’t see anyone using them during our stay. Cleanliness & Maintenance: Staff work hard but seem understaffed. Pathways were slippery with algae, and there were spider webs everywhere while walking. Understandable in a nature-based resort, but better upkeep is expected at this price point. Trekking: Closed due to some incident, but judging by other activities, expectations would not have been high. Value for Money: Honestly, not worth the price. For the amount I paid for 3 people/2 days, I expected good amenities and activities. I have stayed at other resorts offering much more at half the cost. This place is ranked high on booking sites, which influenced my choice — but after staying, I seriously question if those rankings reflect reality. Overall: I have no complaints about the staff — they are doing their best. But the resort is overpriced for what it offers. It should cost nearly half of what is being charged. Unless you specifically want a quiet riverside stay with no activities around, this place may not justify the hype.
