Rachel and staff were lovely. Breakfast was fine if we were just have yoghurt and friuts. Fried breakfast was very dry. Room was very comfortable, shower was powerful, but also conplicated as bathroom light was to be kept on. Beware of bed frame. The bed was extremely comfortable. We would go again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu had a great choice. Quiet and peaceful. One would never know that the inn is so near to M20, A20 and A252. Lovely garden with ample seating

We enjoyed a wonderful meal in the restaurant-food was perfect and plentiful. We had a beautiful room and ensuite. The staff we met were all very attentive and kind. Location was quiet. We had a lovely breakfast and leisurely departure as you could stay until 11am.

We attended a family funeral in the area and as the Wake was at The Bowl Inn we had arranged to stay there. On arrival staff were very helpful and showed us our room which was clean and warm. The food provided for people who had been to the funeral was excellent and clearly home made and very tasty. We noticed that throughout the evening quite a number of people came in for a meal and having experienced the food I can see why. Breakfast was very good with a nice choice. We had smoked salmon on brown toast with scrambled egg. All served in a dining room that had views over the surrounding countryside. The log fire in the bar area provided alot of heat and created a nice cosy feel to the place. We would definitely stay again, the only trouble is we live 360 miles away so it would not be a case of just dropping in however if were ever going to be in the area again we would definitely visit.
