On my booking did ask for Assenable Room which didn't get I've got Lower Back Lumber Pain and Arthrist in my Hips On Arrival the Blonde Woman on Desk was Rude towards me regarding the requirement The Little shower unit had 5 inch up into it but my problem was the Shower Head was on Wall not Hand Held so couldn't use it has it woukd Wet my Hair No Hairdryer in Room also No stool could sit on because carnt stand for long The Bed was okay was King-size but the Back Window was Terrible looking onto Flat Roof with loads Pigeons on it even one DEAD One which was Gross Then WFI wouldnt work again had to go to Reception rectify it nice Lad was pleasant and sorted it

A clean and comfortable but basic 2 star hotel, no restaurant or bar, car park for 4 cars, but we were lucky and someone moved their car on the road outside the hotel and no restrictions 18.00-09,00.

On arrival at 9pm I said I had a booking and that my daughter had dropped off my case earlier in the day. The receptionist said' I wasn't here theb". I showed her the booking on my phone, which confirmed I had paid. She said " have you got a booking number" I found 2 numbers on the email. They weren't the right ones. I legally booked through Agoda but this was not good enough as there was no email address on the booking. She would not check us in. I stood my ground and after waiting for 2 other couples who had arrived to be dealt with, there followed a very difficult situation. I told her that my husband had dementia but to no avail. A different staff member came and told us to leave. I said " so you are going to throw 2 vulnerable people our on the street. She said that there where plenty other hotels that we could go to to book in and threatened to call the police. I became distressed and as a result so did my husband. He tried the handles on 2 doors which were locked. The first staff member came back and accosted him angrily "you tried those doors". She finally relented, looked at the email and checked is in. I noticed the next day that in very small print in the Terms and Conditions, I was asked to bring photo ID. To the management of Teavelodge, I will say this. In order to prevent a repeat of the horrendous safeguarding failure that has been in the news, you have certainly taken your eye off the ball when it comes to other safeguarding issues such as ours. Think again and retain your staff to prevent a horrendous experience like ours occurring again.

Nice room n bed, location excellent.

Perfect location and staff lovely only down side rooms very hot and the higher the floor the hotter the rooms they do supply fans but not to every room also a hairdryer in room would not go amiss
