Good location 5 min walk into town the room was a good size with lovely interior design touches bathroom a good size too. The host was fantastic nothing was too much trouble and had the most delicious fruit salad for breakfast

This b&b is a short walk from Dartmouth and Jonathon was very helpful. Only issue was parking, but the owner helped locate a spot.

I stayed in a single room which was small but very cosy and characterful, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities, including a mini-fridge and tea-making. The wifi was consistent at a decent speed, not as fast as in bigger cities but more than able to handle watching videos at 1080p without interruption. By Dartmouth standards the room was relatively affordable and Jonathan is a friendly, thoughtful host. The breakfast options are a bit limited (fruit + toast/croissants and juice) but perfectly fine. The location is near the bottom of a hill and only a short distance from the centre of town and myriad bus stops to take you anywhere you need to go. I had an extremely positive stay and Hill View will be my first choice on any future visits to Dartmouth.

The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was superb, but what really made Hill View House worth staying at, was the fabulous attention from Johnathon. He was friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. The room was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we required. And although a short up-hill walk was required, it is also still very central and makes everything accessible.
