Really nice place, room, staff, food and exceptional beer, a shame that it doesn't have its own parking and you are best to park in cotton st car park which is an 8 min walk away but only £1 to park overnight, and you too u your parking via the Ringo parking app. Breakfast was really nice, a good choice of quality food. I can highly recommend this place, intend to return.

We stayed for 1 night last August Bank Holiday aswell,enjoyed the stay so booked again. We like this establishment,onsite bar and drink selection is great, they even provide a free breakfast in the morning. Parking is a bit of a pain,you may have to park away from the premises its all residential parking. All staff we encountered this stay apart from one woman where absolutely great,my wife hopped out the car and went in to enquire about a possible early check in due to the parking situation,we wanted to drop our luggage in and find somewhere for the car,she was snapped at by a grumpy lady as we didn't ask regarding it previous to our arrival,for this reason we have booked elsewhere next August,she was upset when she came back out to the car,she didn't point you out to me as it really annoyed me and I'd have definitely said something to you but she was upset about it,there was no need,we just made an enquiry.

We had a one night stay at the end of April 2024. Arrived slightly before check in time, greeter by friendly attentive staff. Check in all straightforward. A quick freshen up in the room and we went downstairs to sample a few of their own brewed beers. We decided not to walk into town to eat but instead had dinner in the bar area. All very nice too. The room was perfectly adequate for the price and breakfast the next morning was very nice too. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come again.

We booked because we went to the theatre. The facilities were good and the breakfast was lovely.
