Hotel Oberon

This was our first visit to Solapur and we were little worried about our stay in the city. We found hotel Oberon and after reading the reviews we decided to for it. We stayed there for 2 nights and our package was including breakfast. The finest part of the hotel is the room sizes. Rooms are really big. We had chosen Family room. Room was clean. Bathroom was equipped with all.the necessary facilities. The room had a beautiful city view which we enjoyed a lot during our leisure time. The breakfast was also good in taste and quality. Options are limited though. The only thing is they should look after the cleanliness of the restaurant. It was little unclean. But overall food experience was good. We didn't try any other food item from their inhouse restaurant as we had different plans to explore the city. The staff is very helpful, polite and accomodating. The service was remarkably quick. The location of the hotel is also good. It's 3.2 km from the railway station. ( Only disadvantage of the city is you have to pay minimum 200/- to travel a distance of say 2-3 kms. No meter). Our overall experience was good and would definitely recommend this place.

The hotel is good, neat and clean located on the main road easy to locate. The quality of the food was decent. The only complaint was WIFI was not working for 2 days in our 3 days stay. Only 1st day we were able to use it and later they informed there is some issue and technician is looking into it but was not fixed until we checked out. overall, the stay was comfortable.

Overall, the hotel is good, especially if you are travelling without a car. The rooms, service, and overall stay experience were decent, and most of the staff members were cooperative and helpful throughout the stay. However, the biggest issue is the parking situation. The hotel claims to provide parking space, but in reality, there is no proper dedicated parking available. Guests are asked to park their vehicles on the roadside, which can be quite inconvenient and stressful, especially if you are travelling with a car. One particular downside was the behavior of the security guard. While the rest of the staff was polite and supportive, the guard was unnecessarily irritating and constantly created issues regarding where and how to park the vehicle. Parking on the narrow roadside area itself is challenging, and instead of helping, the attitude made the experience even more frustrating. Be prepared to seriously test your parking skills if you plan to bring a car here. So, if you are visiting without a vehicle, the hotel can still be a good option. But if you are travelling by car, do not rely on their claim of having proper parking facilities.

The location is a plus other than that the rooms are average and the restaurant is not that great. Breakfast was ok

Bigger room. Although dampness in rooms but we managed by a room change. Staff was cooperative. If dampness can be corrected, its good stay for family enroute.
