OYO 커크코넬 홀 호텔

We stopped here mid-week to break up a trip to Scotland. The hotel is right on the motorway junction, so really easy to get to. There was a very low background noise from the traffic but nothing that should trouble anyone. The hall is a large country house with clearly a lot of history and although some parts are not as glorious as they once might have been, it's fabulously genuine and has a lot of character. We had a really nice large bedroom very well refurbished with an equally good bathroom that had a large free-standing bath. The water was good and hot too. Both were very clean. There is a small bar downstairs with a log-burner to sit round. Breakfast was continental (no full cooked breakfast option) and OK. Good value for money and we would definitely stay there again.

Booked through Agoda to stay at Kirkconnel Hall Hotel: we phoned to confirm arrival time- they had no record of our booking, when we arrived- still no contact/ communication from Agoda. Had to prove we had already paid. Hotel was good; especially given we weren’t expected. Bed was comfy, room clean. Breakfast was lovely, we were accommodated later one. Summary: Please check with hotel they have your booking if using Agoda.

Really enjoyed our stay on route to Stirling. Enjoyed the bfast of freshly baked croissant so much. Thanks John& wife & Tilly the poodle 😊

Very quaint and a lot of history. Lovely hosts who made us very welcome. The continental breakfast was first class - great choice and variety.

The owners were warm and welcoming. It was a great opportunity to stay in a country house, instead of a generic chain hotel. The lobby, bar and restaurant were well maintained, and full of original features. Our room and ensuite bathroom were spotless. The bathroom suite was dated, but the room rate reflects this. The hotel is easy to find - just off the motorway, making this a great place to relax after a long drive.
