We were met with a warm friendly greeting from our host with fantastic local knowledge. Beautiful hotel with tasteful decor which complemented the building. Only wish I was staying longer. Will definitely return

A Pleasant Surprise
Unprepossessing looking because of all the scaffolding (temporary, no doubt), but the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, parking was easy, the staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good. Arrived on Thursday which was the chef's night off, so no food available - one disappointment in an overall decent stay. People with walking difficulties should check with the hotel as there's no lift - I assume they have more accessible rooms than mine was. Word of warning - if using the sat nav to find the hotel, programme in the actual address rather than the postcode as this can lead you to a dead end.

Wonderful 240 year-old home converted by an architect who is also the proprietor. Lovely stay! We highly recommend if you fly into the Glasgow/Paisley area.

No hot water in December!
No hot water and it’s Scotland in December. I understand: things can go wrong, but when I told the staff it didn’t get fixed and even though I had to have a freezing shower they refused to adjust my bill or do anything for me. How arrogant. Clearly they think they are too good to offer genuine customer service. Shame, a nice building and room but I will never stay there again after the way I was treated.

Comfortable Bed!
Seriously one of the most comfortable beds ever! Wish we could have had a longer stay. The staff welcomed us in and were very accomodating.
