Iberostar Selection Coral Cancun - Adults Only All Inclusive Resort

My partner and I had a beautiful 4-night stay. The facilities were lovely and the staff were so friendly. Would recommend

You will know within the 10 minutes since they greet you at the reception as they will redirect you to a concierge who tries to sell and push you to join a 1.5hr presentation. We went to the coral adult pool area which we were told will be operating 24hrs but no one would give us towels. I went to ask staff for help and they kept pushing the responsibility to the others so after 2 reminders to different staff I finally got towels after an hour. Honestly we tipped people who served us but the service is just soooooo bad that even a tipping won't help!!!!! At night we went to the american bistro and we were arranged to a bad-manner loud talking table but the receptionist refused to change the table for us even though there were vacant seats everywhere. He said our room number once written on the paper it's DONE! At the end my US steak was served as chunks of thick meats with no sauce on it. Waiter did not even give us forks for few times. My honest review is not to spend any money in this hotel because you can feel that your every dollar was spent on those people who tried to scam but not to serve you. remarks: I have been to many 5 star hotels not only in cancun but those in southeast asia who share some degrees of tipping culture. None of them is this scammy and disappointing.

Look Customer service 10/10 -it’s next level Food 6/10 but 9/10 for coral level -main building restaurant food sucks coral level restaurant and buffet are surprisingly good Alcohol 5/10 -watered down a lot of ice bad bartender cheep liqueur Room 10/10 -tub on balcony is everything because hotel pools are not heated while being 24/7 room cleaned 2x per day also Side notes -beach water in incredible -lots to do will not be bored -do coral level please you will see why -they have time share meeting for free 1 person massage 1hr just say no and you get massage -5-6 nights is plenty

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing summer vacation from coral level iberostar. All the staff members we met were extremely friendly, tried their best to make out stay comfortable and better. Only thing we found slightly down side of the resort was the food. Breakfast buffet from adult side of resort was very plain for a 5-star hotel, the steak house, Italian restaurant was good (we mainly ordered coral level exclusive menu such as lobsters,T-bone steak, but the mexican restaurant and the Japanese restaurant seemed to need to add more flavor on their menu. Overall my experience is full with satisfaction and we’ll definitely go back soon in the future!!
