베스트 웨스턴 그로스베너 호텔

Great location for all visitor attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. Good variety for breakfast with a choice of cooked eggs. However we had a room on the second floor, no lift, at the front of the hotel, extremely noisy, well used road right outside. Had to keep the window closed of a night, no air conditioning but a floor fan was available. There were no coat hangers but house keeping provided some when asked. No hair dryer or iron in the room, lucky I’d taken my own. Clean bathroom but shower tray had no foot grips so was very slippy. Whoever had hung the curtains hadn’t hung them properly so couldn’t close them properly, reported this to staff on checkout so hopefully will be sorted. Also curtains are not black out so the light shines right through. All in all we enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay there again, with a few tweaks would be a really nice hotel.

Overall it is a lovely place but our room needed a bit of tlc (marks on the walls that you couldn't miss, dirty around the bath taps and bed base some kind of marks on it) The staff were very helpful but seemed short staffed as breakfast time was chaotic running out of cooked breakfast items so having to wait for more to be brought out needs two toaster machines, also big line for breakfast as not enough tables.

Reception area and restaurant very pleasant. The room was a real let down, I have never been in such a plain depressing room, dk brown walls, no pictures, 1 pillow each no full length mirror , no bedside lamps! But worst thing for me which I didn’t realise till morning no mattress covers ! Which is a must ! On the plus side the staff was great, breakfast very good. Location is perfect which is why I would stay again but I will make sure mattress covers are in place first. Rooms just need bringing up to standard requirements.

All very nice. Only issue I considered using the bath was a bit difficult and unsafe Peter O

Rooms very hot, the fan in the room was helpful, but air conditioning would be a bonus
