The Flowerpot

The FlowerPot was a delight. Check-in was easy, everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful, and I found the room to be clean, comfortable, and ideal for my three-night stay. I especially appreciated the tea, hot chocolate, and biscuits that were waiting for me. Location was great - I walked to everything, and the hotel’s restaurant recommendations did not disappoint. Highly recommend.

They play loud music until 10pm and it's really hard to check-in, as you need to get to the bar through a bunch of drunk Brits and it's hard to hear the staff. When I went upstairs I called them to ask when the music will stop and I heard 'First of all, we are a music venue'. Are you? I thought I found you on Agoda, what would mean you are a hotel. First of all, I am a guest and I want to get proper rest. If you want to play music, fix your ceiling and keep the noise away from the rooms. I'm positive in general, because eventually I managed to get good sleep (in earplugs), but I couldn't go to bed before 10pm, so they should actually charge me for a friction of the price, as the room couldn't be used during the promised times.

I really had a good stay here. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. The place is stylish, unique, original and arty cool and is quiet to sleep in despite being above a live music venue and busy cool pub. It has a luxurious feel to it with stylish modern bathroom. There were many little extra touches included. Like hot choc as well as tea and coffee, nice biscuits, a fan for the heatwave, nice bathroom products, bottled water. The breakfast buffet was better than expected for a free breakfast. Little fruit jellies, nutella, cereal, bread, etc. Fridges and a microwave. A shop nearby. The pub itself is cool and the back garden decking area has a lovely tree stump growing in it amidst the carnival lights. It will make a nice stage area for bands in summer festivals. It is an exceptional place to stay and budget friendly too. I wish they had space to stay longer. Thanks. I hope to come stay again in the future.
