The White Horse hotel review, Dorking
Hotel is Vintage, but it is well maintained. Hotel is recently renovated. However, rooms are bit cozy. - Breakfast is adequate. - Polite staff. - Important benefit is that many options to eat at walkable distance.

A Lovely Gem
Booked for an overnight stay for work but will definitely book again for leisure. Warm, friendly, welcoming, spotless, gorgeous room with care taken over decor and experience. On opening the door relaxing music was playing which was a lovely welcome, followed up by complimentary sweet treats, hand written card of welcome and my favourite Illy coffee waiting on the side. Everything was what this weary traveller welcomed. Loved the old world charm. Great glass of red wine served by helpful bar staff. Small supper snack to accompany the wine was beautiful and will definitely try the restaurant next visit after looking at the menu.

Pretty rooms
I stayed here with my one year old for a night. Room was quite spacious , nice bed and room had a retro feel with beautiful interiors and a cute pink radio. Pub/ bar in the hotel is very good. Heating in the room was not working but they gave us room air heater which was okay but in the night felt suffocation and wasn’t good for the baby.

Fabulous 2 nights!
What a great find!! The room was fabulous.. immaculately clean and tidy and the bedding.. the decor, the treat and handwritten welcome note made you feel as though you were in a 5 star hotel!! And even better great value for money. We arrived late in the evening and the restaurant was open until 10 pm which was a life saver.. and the food was not expensive but a great choice which was wonderfully presented and delicious. Finally the staff were in all areas (reception and restaurant) were very polite, attentive and nothing seemed to much trouble!
