Pros: Overall reasonably good value for the price. Great location next to CMK shopping centre. Nice views of Campbell Park and surrounding area. Very good breakfast and stunning views from the 14th floor restaurant. Staff professional and all but one very helpful and friendly. Cons: A few rowdy guests. A bit of a party going on in the room next to me but done by 11.30pm so not too bad. Some guests making a lot of noise when returning in the early hours of the morning. Also, I was shocked to overhear at reception more than one other guest complaining that from the noises in the room next door to theirs it was clear that the hotel is being used by working girls.

Have stayed here a few times now. Nice big and clean rooms close to ML theatre district.

As regular visitors to this hotel, we were surprised to find that the leaking ceiling in the reception area is still bad. This was leaking and had buckets, tissue and towels all over-the-counter place since the last time we came in November. The Christmas decorations are still up. The room, as usual was clean and everything worked. The breakfast, as usual was fresh and plentiful. It just seems a little unkempt and neglected in places. I consider this one of the best hotels in Milton Keynes and am surprised these issues haven't been sorted yet. I was really annoyed that the receptionist that checked us out She took our parking ticket to check if it would be cheaper to pay the discounted 24 hour rate that the hotel can arrange or directly with the car park. We ended up paying the higher price because she didn't pay attention to what she was doing. Not happy about that, especially as I asked her to check which would be the cheaper option. Left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Whilst the hotel ambiance overall is nice, they are inflexible in going the extra mile to accommodate guests. For example other hotels in the area will make an occasion celebrated for guests extra special in providing extras for them. Also late check outs while complimentary with most hotels La Tour requested a charge for it Response to requests are late in coming. First time customers and will not be using them again.

My husband and I had a rare night out and we absolutely delighted with this beautiful hotel. The room was immaculate, as was the whole hotel. The room had a bottle of water, tea/coffee, kettle, hairdryer, safe, ironing board and iron. The TV worked and so did the air conditioning, both of which we've had problems with, at other hotels. There is an ice dispenser in the corridor, which is a lovely touch. The toiletries are from White Company, which is a massive thumbs up from me! The restaurant and bar are absolutely fantastic with incredible views of the city and Campbell Park, based on the 14th floor. We even ventured onto the balcony! The team in the bar were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and we really felt as though we were important. It was such a refreshing change from 'ordinary' service. They really went above and beyond, we cannot big them up enough, this will be a night that we will remember with such fondness. In no particular order, we would like to thank the following staff for their attentiveness and friendliness; Sam (fellow Chelsea supporter) Eren, Alice, Samantha, Jake, Cameron and Ash. We cannot wait to return.
