Captain Morgan House

Double Room” was no different from a basic hostel-style room. • Photos inaccurate: Advertised views, windows, and surroundings do not match the actual room. • Mini bar misrepresented: A tiny fridge with two bottles of water ≠ a minibar. • Toiletries misrepresented: Cheap hand soap dispensers ≠ “a range of toiletries.” • Linen quality unacceptable: Thin bedding with holes contradicts “high-quality linens.” • Cleanliness & hygiene issues: Bugs in bathroom; leaking shower flooding floor. • Safety & comfort concerns: Poor lighting, access via fire escape, to outdoor space snd shared kitchen ares unsafe feeling at night. • Facilities misrepresented: • No private on-site car park • Shared kitchen used by owners, unhygienic conditions (meat hanging, dirty dishes) • Location misrepresented: Not a lively tourist promenade or scenic area. • Overall tone of advert (“romantic,” “pampered,” “delightful”) completely false. This is misleading advertising, not just disappointment. Tried to communicate with owner but was unable due to language barrier Only thing postive were checking lady was pleasant and so were the people who seemed to be living boarding there
