I had a comfortable and enjoyable two weeks at Dreamland Sadly, there are no more colorful corals But you can still see various and beautiful marine life in some parts of the island I met cute turtles almost every day during my two weeks of snorkeling I took great videos of manta rays during the excursion I also recommend nurse shark feeding. You can see dozens of beautiful sharks I also enjoyed seeing many rare underwater creatures such as stingrays, moray eels, lionfish, and lobsters, squides, octopus, anemone fishes, and several black tip sharkes at the house reef It is an old but quiet and comfortable resort The staff were all warm and friendly.

If you like snorkeling, you can meet various underwater creatures at the water bungalows on the ocean side. However, the waves near the water bungalows on the ocean side are quite rough.

We booked Dreamland specially for the location close to Hanifaru Bay. After reading the reviews we knew what to expect. In short, if you find a great offer its value for money, The welcome was a bit cool, specially after a long night flight. We reached @ 10 in the morning. We were happy we were checked in early. We choose for an overwater bungalow and requested Ocean side to be close to the drop off. Which was granted amicable. The rooms are very spacious, specifficly the shower/bath area as well a great detail is the outside shower, great to clean after snorkeling. Although an early checkin our AI package would only start after 12. Snorkeling at Dreamland is pretty okay, the reef is not big, rather small many dead corals. Managed to see, Cuttlefish, Morene, two resident turtles in the the inside reef, black tip reef sharks, sting ray, rays and various other fish. Snorkeling is a bit of challenge due to the strong currents ( west monsoon season) with AI package we had 1 free excursion and toke an other excursion beside the haifaru bay excursions. To start with the Hanifaru bay excursion, with the dive centre, although a bit pricy, the crew and specially the guide was very good and supportive, had an eye for the environment and safety of all. the excursion with the hotel staff, 2 (adventure snorkeling and turtle snorkeling. ) the turtle snorkleling was okay, but was also on a rather dull reef needy. Adventure snorkeling was much better, although the guid ( hotel staff) was not respectful to the environment at all. Was trying to keep a turtle close, touched corals...which set us off. The Food at dreamland. the AI package is a bit small, not many choices for drinks and coffee only the instant coffee. The food at breakfast pretty okay, for everybody something, yoghurts, plenty of them, cheese, salads, fresh baked eggs and fresh cut fruits. some sweets. the lunch we found poor, while the dinner had much more options. All in All we got a great super offer and found it value for money, if you had to pay for the full amount it's not what you would expect. the staff is exceptional and great. we had a great time overall.

Good location Nice to stay at the hotel if you want to chill. The activity like manta snorkeling cost like $110++ and boat charge $30 per trip though Joy Dive guide tries to show the guest a manta rays or whale sharks. We tried twice to find them and saw a few of the manta rays and a while shark. It was a good experience. We also enjoyed snorkeling in house reef which was amazing. Good selection was good and staff were friendly. I would recommend this place. Thank you

The view from Hotel was breathtaking beach ocean view, clean beach, friendly staffs, food are all fresh and delicious. Cleaning room twice a day. We had gotten great memories for our 10th Anniversary there.
