The Ísafjörður Inn

This was a very unique hotel stay for us. We arrived at the property and found a place to park quite easily outside on the street. I went to the front door, and it would not open. It was locked. Saw some people inside and got their attention. They opened the door and explained that there was no reception and that I should have received an email with instructions and codes. We did not know this and might have figured this out on our own, but so glad that there was a person (guest) to tell us this. Went back and found my phone and there was an email with the information. (We did not have the ability to get emails on my laptop or mywife's Ipad so it would have been VERY HELPFUL) to have recieved these instructions ahead of time when our reservation was confirmed. The room was clean and very efficient but very very small. WE had to plan our moves and coordiante as there was very litle wiggle room. Quiet and a nice breakfast in the morning with a real person! A bit pricey from what we got, but location, location, location. I suspect this will become the way the hotel business is headed and will see more of this.
