빌라 파크 선 아일랜드 리조트

Pros Large island Non managerial staff are very friendly Watersports and excursions are good Cons They run a cunning plan to try upsell you by upgrading you on the first night and if you have more than one room they put you together. Then second night onwards separate the rooms by a huge distance in order to get the upsell. Managerial staff especially Ismail is terrible rude and unprofessional Reef that surrounds island is poor for maldives standard, poor snorkeling around the island. Parts of the reef are dying or dead.

I stayed in Villa Park Sun Island Resort from 26-30 Dec 2023. We were a family of 4 (2 older children) travelling for the first time after COVID. The Lagoon Beach Villa with Pool room was fantastic, newly renovated and great, lively color combination. The island is one of the largest in Maldives and while it may have the highest number of rooms, the privacy was great. At no point of time did we feel that it was very crowded despite the busy season. Special thanks to the Chef's Raminda Premaratne and Shanthanu who made sure that there were enough vegetarian options for the entire family. They personally took interest in understanding our needs and did a great job. Khaled in Water Sports too was a great guide and helped us make the most in our 3 days of Water Sports options. The SPA treatment was also great. All-in-all, the property and customer service exceeded my expectations. Thank you Raminda, Shanthanu and Khaled and all other staff for making it a great stay.

Waiting more than 5 hours on arrival. Beach not developed for comfort . Just left as found in nature. Internet in rooms is so slow and limited to room. If i step out to terrace immediately will cutoff at the terrace door. Facilities here is old and not up to standard. Programmes also not active. There was no animators for children. Although the new year party dinner is high price , however, it doesn't include one glass of champagne. Prices of drinks are drastically high. Especially for the new year dinner.

Excellent vacation resort for all kinds of groups. Various restaurant options, multiple cuisines, lots of activities or places to explore while walking, and most importantly, extremely polite and helpful staff - unable to name just one as almost all were superb in their hospitality.
