Havisham House

Just had a one night stay prior to a game of golf at Woburn. Very nice room and well worth the price.

We stayed at this quaint, very old house in Woburn to attend a performance at the Stables . Warm welcome and comfortable accommodation however this would not be suitable for someone with mobility issues. The stairs are VERY steep and quite narrow . However that aside it was a lovely stay for a couple of days.

Stay here and you won’t be disappointed. The house is beautifully appointed and decorated, the beds are very comfortable, the host is welcoming and friendly and helpful. Can’t praise it highly enough, we were only there overnight and left wishing it was longer.

Adam is an excellent host and he clearly wants you to have a relaxed and comfortable stay. The rooms are very well decorated & appointed, there is a high standard of cleanliness, a quiet oasis of a garden to the rear and the beds are comfortable. There are a number of restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance within Woburn. You will enjoy your stay with Adam! Recommended.

We’d read reviews and wow this did not disappoint. The house has been beautifully restored, the room we stayed in incredibly comfortable and the host warm and welcoming. The location is perfect for Woburn safari park and abbey and is close to local amenities. We will definitely be coming back.
